Susan Spiritus has been a leader in the field of fine art photography for over thirty years, opening the doors to her Southern California gallery in 1976 so that she could share her passion for photography with others.
Today, the gallery handles the work of over fifty artists including photographic luminaries Ansel Adams, Ruth Bernhard, Manuel Álvarez Bravo, Eikoh Hosoe, André Kertész, and George Tice.

Also represented are many of today’s most popular and award-winning contemporary artists including Roman Loranc, Camille Seaman, Hiroshi Watanabe, Susan Burnstine, Cara Barer, Danae Faillers and Adrian Roland Davis in addition to several emerging artists.

The gallery works with private collectors, corporations and design professionals providing personalized counsel in order to address each client’s individual needs.

Whether a first time buyer or a prolific collector, the gallery has something for everyone. Art ranges in price, style and type including platinum, silver, hand-colored and digital. Custom framing can be arranged. Artwork can be shipped anywhere in the world.

Hannah Sloan / Director

Since 2004, Hannah Sloan has been a director at RoseGallery in Santa Monica’s renowned Bergamot Station Arts Center. RoseGallery was founded in 1991 by Rose Shoshana and represents a diverse collection of internationally recognized photographers such as Dorothea Lange, William Eggleston, Tomoko Sawada, Todd Hido and Graciela Iturbide to name a few.

Ms. Sloan acts as a consultant to both private and museum collections worldwide, guiding clients in the acquisition and preservation of cherished vintage and contemporary photographs. She also works closely with gallery artists, shepherding individual projects to fruition, including traveling exhibitions, monographs and limited edition portfolios such as Mark Cohen’s “True Color” and Bruce Davidson’s “Subway”. She has acted as a designer and associate editor on photography books by artists like Manuel Ávarez Bravo and Martin Parr.
