Los Angeles photographer Tracy Jean Shields has been making photographs for over 10 years. Her career includes working in the Department of Photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum for 3 years, and for the following three years was the Assistant Curator for The Wilson Centre for Photography. Tracy's exhibitions have included the J. Paul Getty Museum, "Getty Underground", Women in Photography International, Butterfield's, "Art for New York", and she has contributed work to the Focus on Aids benefits, including recently, the Aids Research Alliance, "Art Seen". In 2002 and 2006 her work was chosen for the Center for Photographic Art prestigious Annual Center Awards, and she is represented in the Yale Archive, Peter E. Palmquist Collection of Western & Women's Photography.
