Where man and machine intersect is where you will meet performance artist and digital photographer Tiffany Trenda, whose apocalyptic aesthetic and soul-baring passion compel us to take a closer look at our relationship with technology. She demonstrates through her live performances and photographs that the human/machine interface has become an extension of the body, creating an equilibrium destructive to the organic form as more and more elements of our human existence are becoming simulated inorganically. She remarks, " We are all bodies of flesh and a network of information.(V.S. Magni) In 1996 she was honored as a California Arts Scholar and studied at Art Center College of Design. In 2005, she was mentioned as the highlight of Photo San Francisco (http://artfairsinc.com/photosf/2005/welcome.html) and has received LA Weekly Pick of the Week. After gracing the cover of Apparel News twice Tiffany Trenda was quoted as a star in the making by U2.com.
