I was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1964 and since I was a little child I have been traveling around the world with my parents. This opened me up to a variety of cultures and a passion for the arts and languages. I still travel a lot and I revel in the opportunities to meet people and learn about their cultures. My photographs are a self examination and reflexion of what is happening to me and the people and the places I visit. I came to live in the United States twenty years ago. I studied at the University of Miami and in 2000 I received, through the Continuing Studies School, my Bachelor in General Studies in which I concentrated in Art History and Photography. I presently live and work in Coral Gables, Florida where I raise my young son Andrew.
