C.C. Clarke is based in Los Angeles and travels frequently to France. Her main interests are art and architecture, urban and rural landscape. She works in color, black & white, 35 mm and digital, in natural light only - seeking the unusual in natural settings, using light to isolate an object or scene to bring out its inherent beauty. She learned her aesthetic from Ikebana flower arranging - where less is more, and "remove half" is a guiding principle. Her images have been used as illustrations and exhibited - with 'religious' subjects being the most popular to date. France and - it goes without saying - Paris is a particular specialty.
