Epson is #1

It’s A Printing Revolution..! Finally..!

I don't know about you, but for years I've wanted to print color and dreaded the thought that the collector, or the museum or gallery curator would open the box and find the image had faded. Finally, there is truly a revolution in the printing of color photographs. Epson printers and inks are leading the way by opening the "archival door," allowing artists upresscented control over their work to create prints with museum quality, clarity and longevity. ...now all it takes is "purely the image" ... Jean Ferro, Pres. WIPI.

The exhibit, "America in Detail," is by award winning photographer Stephen Wilkes, sponsored by Epson, printed by R. Mac Holbert, Nash Editions and curated by Carole Kismaric and Marvin Heiferman. The production and Installation was handled by Graham Howe, Curatorial Assistance, Pasadena.

A Panel discussion was held at the Patricia Correia Gallery, Bergamot Station, Santa Monica, CA on March 2, 2001

Tim B. Wride, Associate Curator, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) tells the audience how LACMA's relationship to collecting color images has always been a positive one and it is disheartening to open a box of color images to find that they have faded.

Graham Nash, Nash Editions and co-founder R. Mac Holbert praise the Epson team
for their support and explain how the new paper and inks have surpassed the "Iris" print. Nash Editions is the leading digital fine art printmaking studio having devoted over a decade to mastering the fine art digital printing process.
